Tap-Mini (ATM) Fuses, Used with Auveco # 8781 or Auveco # 12159

“Tapping” fuse blocks equipped with mini fuses are no problem. Now there’s a quick, easy alternative to direct wiring for tapping the “hot side” of mini fuse style fuse blocks.  The balde type fuse tap is made of .016″ thick sturdy brass with .187″ (3/16″) wide tab.  It is engineered for quick connect and disconnect of accessories.

  1. Locate “hot side” of circuit in the fuse block with test probe. Slide the tap onto the corresponding “hot side” blade of the fuse.
  2. Insert the fuse into the fuseblock
  3. Crimp one end of an in-line fuse holder (with the fuse installed) to the appropriate Auveco female connector 8781 (16-14 Ga.) or 12159 (22-18 Ga.). Attach the other fuse holder lead to the accessory wire. Slide the female connector onto the protruding tab of the tap.
